The Bottom Line

Overall, the L.L. Bean Visa Card is one of the better retail store cards. You can use it anywhere, it offers a nice variety of rewards and benefits for shopping at L.L. Bean, and it has interest rates that are on the low end, even for general, non-store credit cards.

If you’re the outdoorsy type, be sure to check out the 10% back offer for signing up for classes with L.L. Bean Outdoor Discovery Schools.

Most people will get this card to earn the 3% cash back for shopping at L.L. Bean stores. This is a pretty good deal, and one of the better rewards offered among store cards right now.

Since there’s no annual fee, there’s little risk to getting it if you shop at L.L. Bean throughout the year, as long as you use the card responsibly.

Why not get 3% back for the purchases you make? Just be sure to pay off your balance in full every month to avoid paying any interest, which will quickly eat into your savings.
