The Wells Fargo Business Platinum Credit Card is a rewards card that, unlike most other cards, provides a choice between cash back and points.

You’ll need to manually enroll in either the Cash Back or Reward Points option before you can start earning rewards. There’s no fee to enroll.

The Cash Back program is simpler, and comes with a $500 cash back bonus for spending $3,000 in the first 3 months. You’ll also earn 1.5% cash back on every purchase.

The Reward Points option has a bit more to it:

  • 50,000 bonus points for spending $3,000 in the first 3 months
  • 1X point per dollar for all purchases
  • 1,000 bonus points for spending $1,000 or more in a monthly billing period
  • 10% point bonus for redeeming points online

You can enjoy a 0% introductory APR for 9 months on both purchases and balance transfers. After that you’ll get APRs of 7.99%–17.99% Variable.

You must have an existing Wells Fargo checking or savings account open for at least one year in order to apply for this card online.
