This card could be an easy choice if you’re looking for your first credit card (if you’re eligible, that is);  it comes with pretty loose terms, like no annual fee. The downside here is as far as “Visa Rewards” go, you’ll only earn 1X point per dollar on everything you purchase and you can only redeem points for select merchandise.

Along with no balance transfer fee, you’ll get a 0% introductory rate on purchases, balance transfers, and cash advances for 6 months, then your rates will be 16.90%.

In order to be eligible for Justice FCU and to apply for the card, you’ll need to be a part of one of the following communities:

  • Homeland Security
  • Justice Department
  • Law Enforcement

Or, you’re eligible if an immediate family member is already a member of Justice FCU.

You’ll also need to open a savings account with Justice Federal Credit Union and deposit at least $5 in order to establish membership before you apply.
