3 payments MIA

I kept getting credit card offers in the mail for this credit card so I finally just applied. I really did not need another credit card but I applied anyway as I was trying to build my credit. This credit card is horrible and as soon as one of my 3 payments post to my account I am closing my account. I would rather take a hit against my credit for closing this account than take a hit to my credit everytime I mail a payment and they say for weeks they have not tecieved it. The bad thing is every payment has cleared my bank account. I made 1 payment online, 1 payment BEFORE the due date, and 1 payment after the due date and even included the late fee just so I could have a $0.00 balance so I can close this account. If you are trying to build your credit this is NOT a credit card you want to get!! The only thing they can help you do is ruin your credit you are trying to repair. This is ridiculous. I am going to report this company to the Fair Credit Reporting company. I am beyond pissed!

Bad credit card

I paid my account on time with my checking account & this card refused the payment, making it bounce and I had the money in my account. I didn’t want to accumulate the late fee so paid my account balance in full with a money order. I sent the money order again on time to the correct P.O. Box and card services still did not process my payment on time. When I noticed again that the payment was taking to long again to clear customer service rep said it would take 14 days to process payment because of the first payment not clearing from my checking account which was bullshit this card is very misleading you can’t pay it with a debit card as well which is insane. They are in the business of charging late fees so you will be indebted to them and this will not help your credit score. I canceled this card because it seems like a scam to set a consumer to have bad credit.

Closed account 5 months ago (2/16/19)

I called and spoke to a representative on 2/16 and asked them to close my account. in closed my account in February 2019. They assured me that my account was closed. I had a balance of $7.43 which I paid on 2/15/19 which brought my account to $0. Today 7/3/19, I get an email stating that my bill for $29.99 is due. How can an account that's been closed for almost 5 months accrue charges.

Dirty practices

I’ve been working on rebuilding my credit and I was excited to see that I received a pre-approval, I applied aware of the hard pull on my credit and I was approved! Seems my eagerness got the best of me.Capital One offers the Quicksilver One card best part about this card is, you get cash back! There is a 39.00 annual fee, but that’s way more do able than this card with no perks and a 75.00 annual fee for a 300.00 limit.I canceled this card I’d rather take the hit and continue to rebuild with some perks rather than this pricy card an nothing. So maybe 12 hrs later, I called and canceled. I explained that the annual fee is too high for me and they don’t have a convenient app like Capital One. The gentleman on the phone said he canceled the and it will show up on my credit as a closed account.Couple weeks later, It’s an open account on my credit and they sent me the card. As well as a bill for 75.00 ( the annual fee) apparently the account will stay open until I pay the fee.Save yourself time, headaches and money, just go to Capital One. I’m going to call in the morning to see if I can get any of this resolved in my favor. I’ll update if I do.

Complete Scam!!! Stay Away

DO NOT FALL IN THIS TRAP!! Their fees are ridiculous and customer service is non-existent. I opened an account with a $300 limit. The fees they charge keep it over the limit. I have used this card once in the past 10weeks, a $70 charge for gas. In that period my balance has gone up almost $300, including the $99 annual fee. During that same 10 week period I also made a payment of $195. They now say my balance is $550. I called to cancel the card due to fees. I asked them to return the $99 fee as that is billed in advance for the next year and I would not be a member for the next year. They flatly refused. DON"T THINK FOR A MINUTE THIS WILL HELP "BUILD CREDIT". This is just one more example of a company preying on consumers that are working hard and trying to get by.
