HSBC Gold Mastercard®

The HSBC Gold Mastercard® is a simple credit card.

It offers an introductory APR of 0% for 18 months for both purchases and balance transfers, before the regular 13.24%, 17.24%, or 21.24% Variable APR applies, which is quite long compared to most cards.

There are no rewards, but you’ll get some basic benefits with this card. Those include Purchase Protection and Price Protection when shopping, and Master RoadAssist services in case you break down on the road.

You’ll also get some pretty generous terms, like no annual fee or foreign transaction fees, no penalty APR, and a late fee waiver every year.
