The Deserve Pro Mastercard is no longer available for new applicants.
The Deserve Pro Mastercard is an interesting card, offering up to 3% cash back for certain purchases. It has no annual fee, no foreign transaction fee, and your first late payment fee will be waived if necessary.
Cardholders earn 3% cash back on travel and entertainment, 2% back at restaurants, and 1% back for all other purchases.
This card has a unique introductory bonus, offering a Complimentary one-year Priority Pass Select membership for spending $1,000 in the first 90 days ($27 lounge entry fee per person). This provides airport lounge access at hundreds of lounges around the world, although you’ll need to pay a $27 fee per visit for you and each guest. You must use your Deserve card as the primary payment method for Priority Pass charges, and your card must be on file with Priority Pass and in good standing at the time of lounge visit.
The Deserve Pro offers a credit limit of up to $10,000, and comes with basic shopping and travel protections. It also has a few other interesting benefits which are rarely seen on credit cards, like rebates at Lemonade Insurance, Feather Furniture rentals, and Mint Mobile.
When applying for Deserve credit cards, Deserve will consider not only your credit history but also your education, current financial health, future employability, and earnings potential. This gives people with poor credit or thin credit files a better chance of approval.
Take note that Deserve will need to connect to your bank account to verify your balance. If you have privacy or security concerns this might worry you, but it seems logical because Deserve bases its decision on more than just an applicant’s credit history.
