shady practice and 10% minimum payments!

This shady company charges 10% minimum payment each month. If you owe $5000 you will need to pay $500 as your minimum payment which is 4X the interest accrued. Meanwhile their card disclosures say NOTHING about how they calculate the minimum payment or what it is. The consumer one does but not the commercial. They should be sued for Usury.

Buyer Beware!

As a small business owner, I have spent $10K plus per year for the past 15 years with Home Depot. That's $150K! Have always appreciated their products and services. But now, I will never shop there again. They have issues with the credit card management, like having to call in to ensure your payment has been applied to any promotional balance. Two years ago I requested that my credit limit be reduced from $9900 to $1500 after paying off the outstanding balance in full. I recently made a purchase which went over the current credit limit, and most importantly, which they accepted!! There were no communications about it and I thought they must be okay with it given my earlier history. Interesting that they supported the sale, but then turned it against me!! I am being penalized for being over the limit, they have reported it to the credit bureau and it's affected my credit rating overall. I have always had an impeccable history with my credit rating and it is now destroyed because of this. In trying to discuss with them, they just tote the company line. Why didn't they deny the purchase then?? Unbelievable! Rona, here I come. No more Home Depot!!
