You’ll get a signup bonus of 60,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles after $3,000 in purchases in the first 3 months of opening your account. You’ll earn 2X AAdvantage® miles per dollar spent on American Airlines, cable and satellite providers, gas stations, select telecommunications merchants, and car rentals. For all other purchases you’ll earn 1X AAdvantage® mile per dollar.

This card also offers an AA Companion Certificate after spending $30,000 in a cardmember year, Preferred Boarding, and you can get your First Bag Checked Free on domestic AA flights for you and up to four companions.

The annual fee for this card is waived for the first year, then it will be $99 annually.
