The Citi® Double Cash Card is an interesting flat-rate cash back credit card with a unique offer.

It offers 2% cash back for all purchases: 1% cash back when a purchase is initially made, and then an additional 1% when that purchases is actually paid for.

Cash back can be redeemed as normal or converted to ThankYou points, where it could be worth more than usual. Every $1 in cash back will convert to 100 ThankYou points, and those points can be transferred to Citi’s airline partners, where they might be worth as much as 2 cents each or more. That would give you a 4% return on your spending!

With no annual fee and an introductory APR of 0% for 18 months on Balance Transfers, this is, by the numbers, one of the most rewarding general-purpose cash back credit cards available.

After that promotional rate runs out, you’ll get a regular balance transfer APR of 15.49% – 25.49% (Variable).
