United MileagePlus® Explorer Card

The United MileagePlus Explorer Card offers some great rewards from frequent travelers of United, providing 2X miles per dollar for tickets purchased from United. That covers flights operated by any airline, as long as the tickets are purchased from United.

This is in addition to the 5X miles per dollar you’ll get from being a United MileagePlus member, so you’ll earn a minimum of 7X miles per dollar on tickets from United.

2X miles are also awarded for hotel accommodations purchased directly from hotels, and at restaurants.

Cardholders also get several airline perks, like free first checked bags, a 25% discount on in-flight purchases, two United Club airport lounge passes per year, and priority boarding. Hotel stays can be a bit cheaper and more comfortable with the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection. And there are a variety of shopping and travel protections too.

This card is one of our picks for the Best Airline Credit Cards.
