United Explorer Card

The United Explorer Card offers some great rewards from frequent travelers of United, providing 2X miles per dollar for purchases from United. That covers flights operated by any airline, as long as the tickets are purchased from United.

2X miles are also awarded for hotel accommodations purchased directly from hotels, and at restaurants.

An introductory offer of 40,000 bonus miles can be had for spending $2,000 in the first 3 months after account opening.

Cardholders also get several airline perks, like free first checked bags, a 25% discount on in-flight purchases, two United Club airport lounge passes per year, and priority boarding. Hotel stays can be a bit cheaper and more comfortable with the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection. And there are a variety of shopping and travel protections too.

This card is not available to you if you already have it, or if you’ve received a new cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months.
