Marriott Rewards® Premier Plus Business Credit Card

The Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Business Credit Card is a good option for business owners who tend to stay with Marriott, Starwood Preferred Guest, or Ritz-Carlton hotels.

You’ll earn 6X Bonus points per dollar at those hotel brands, along with 11X Base points for being a Marriott Silver Elite member (10X points are normally earned, but Silver Elite status provides a 10% bonus). If you get a higher member status you’ll earn more Base points per dollar.

4X Bonus points per dollar are earned at gas stations and restaurants, along with shipping and internet, cable, and phone services. 2X Bonus points are provided for every other purchase.

Cardholders get complimentary Silver Elite status with Marriott, and a fast track to Gold Elite status by spending $35,000 in a given year.

One Free Night Award is included every year, beginning after your cardmember anniversary. This can be redeemed at hotels with a redemption value up to 35,000 points per night, which would get you into a category 5 hotel. There are other perks as well, like 15 Elite Night Credits per year and discounts through Visa SavingsEdge.

The Marriott Rewards Premier Plus card has a $99 annual fee. There are no foreign transaction fees.
