The IHG Rewards Club Traveler Credit Card is your low-end option for IHG hotel cards. The rewards are fairly meager and there are no outstanding benefits, but there’s also no annual fee so it could work well for the occasional IHG traveler.
Chase has several card types depending on your needs.
The IGH Rewards Club Traveler card is a low-end hotel credit card designed for the occasional IHG stay. Why just the occasional stay?
This card has no annual fee, and so the rewards and benefits are pretty limited. You won’t get any free night stays or an automatic enhanced member status, like you would with one of the better IHG cards, the IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card (Review).
But you will have a free way to earn more IHG points with every stay (as long as you avoid interest and other fees), and if you’re not a frequent traveler that could be all you need.
