The Quicksilver Secured Cash Rewards Credit Card is a lot like the Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card (Review), but it’s designed for poor or limited credit.

You can use it to build up your credit for no annual fee, all while earning cash back at a very respectable 1.5% rate (equal to a lot of solid cash back rewards cards).

This card requires an initial security deposit that depends on your creditworthiness. The minimum deposit is $200, while the maximum is $1,000–$3,000 (depending on your creditworthiness). Your credit limit will be equal to your security deposit.

By using the card responsibly (i.e., paying your bills on time) you may earn your deposit back and be upgraded to an unsecured card, such as the Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards Credit Card (Review).
