Use caution!!!!

Worst credit card of my 50 years of life. So many issues. First they charge me an interest fees?? I was never late? when I called to try to figure out what was going on, they didn’t have an answer for me, I was transferred to three different reps and supervisors....okay. Then I decided to cancel it because it happened AGAIN!!!! Paid my last payment, and somehow they took it out TWICE???? How does that happen? it was more than a thousand FYI, and the rep said that they can’t refund it right away because it’s a lot of money....YEAH!! It is and it’s my money that you took out of my account!!!! now I have to wait 30 days to get all my money back. Seriously what the hell!! I feel like they are trying to rob me. Sorry I wanted to cancel but you are the worst!!!!!

Incompetent CS Reps

Every time I have called to speak with a CS rep, I have been less than pleased. However, the most recent time really takes the cake. I noticed fraudulent charges on my card from the previous day, so I called to report it. The first representative I spoke with told me to "wait it out" and maybe the charges wouldn't post to my account. Umm, I've never had my card number stolen before, but that sounds like the worst advice I have ever heard. They also told me that they cannot do anything about the fraudulent charges until they post to the account. After asking a lot of questions, the CS rep finally said they would cancel my current number and send me a new card. I was told that if I noticed any other charges that I hadn't made to make sure to call them back. I told her that I still could not understand why they couldn't make sure the charges didn't go through because I didn't want to be responsible for someone else making purchases. She said she would transfer me to another department. After speaking with the new CS rep, I was told they would initiate a fraud report. Phew. Good. Then, she said they would credit my account, and I'd receive a paper form in the mail (WHAT??) to fill out and return to dispute the charges. I have yet to receive the new card, or the form. In addition, when I tried to log into my account later to make sure there weren't any new charges...I had been locked out of my account. I called to speak with a CS rep again who assured me that locking me out of my account was for my own safety (really?). I asked how I was supposed to tell if any new charges had been made. Her response was, "I can read the history to you". I am less than pleased with this credit card. The rewards are nice, but the CS reps are the worst I've ever had to deal with. I don't feel that this is a safe or secure credit card.

I applied for the Bjs perks credit card and was approved, received the card, activated the card, the agent on the phone even congratulated me. I used my card to paid a bill on the 2 of July. Went to use my card at Bjs on the 4th of July, to my surprise it was deactivated. Mind you I received the card on June 29th, no one called me to inform me. I called them from Bjs and all they can say is, we mailed you out a cancellation letter on the 2nd of July...... I honestly cannot believe this Wow!!! That’s how Comenity bank deals with their customers. Especially on a Holiday. Now I have a negative mark on my credit report, due to your poor decision in approving me and closing my account. You really make your customers feel appreciated, what an embarrassment and shame on your Credit Card Dept. TeamHappy Independence Day!!

Comenity Bank seems like a predatory card issuer. They simply closed my account after 5 weeks since I did only shop at BJ's (5% award and 10 cents on gas), did not transfer any balances and paid my first bill in full. If you want to maximize the benefits the card, they will close it. Don't waste your time - it sounds too good to be true. None of my other cards has ever done this.

Bj's Credit Card Company IS NOT WORTH IT!

As a former credit card employee, I know about customer service, which this company lacks! Ever since January, I called into the company to request a lost a Bj's credit card, over 20x, speaking with the normal employees, supervisors of those employees, then the supervisor above the supervisor. Even the supervisors do not know how to operate the credit card company. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE, NOT EVEN THE SUPERVISORS. EVERY SUPERVISOR PROMISES THAT YOU WILL RESECIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD IN 7 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS, PRIORITY MAIL WOULD BE 3 BUSINESS DAYS, BUT NO, YOU DON'T RECEIVE IT. IF YOU ARE SENT A CREDIT CARD, IT'S THE WRONG CREDIT CARD HOLDER, THREE TIMES THIS HAPPEN TO ME. i AM CANCELING MY BJ'S DUE TO THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY. I WIS THERE WOULD BE AN OPTION FOR 0 STARS.
