Sneaky, unscrupulous

We were solicited on a Frontier airlines flight. We were told we'd get "two free flights" anywhere in the United States after approval of our application. I wondered about this, since points are awarded that are redeemable for flight miles. I called 5?6? times to find out what this meant when I saw nothing on my account that indicated I had said free flights. No one seemed to have any idea what I was talking about. I FINALLY was told that I was given bonus points equivalent to two free flights. Well, those point maybe would have flown me across 2-3 states, but CERTAINLY not "anywhere in the the U.S. I was also told we'd get bonus miles plus a "reimbursed fee" because you will be issued a $100 credit, so it's like getting the annual fee waived. Well, after NUMEROUS phone calls, I finally found out that the $100 is issued after the second year of membership, and after you have paid the annual fee. Like others,I was circled round and round with repeated phone calls, referrals to another department, and ignorance from the customer service reps with whom I spoke. The only good thing I can say about them is that they are very attentive to complaints about charge disputes, and willing to issue a credit for dubious charges. I've had to resort to this twice. The second time, I had ordered a phone holder online based on an ad with photos and a video of a high-quality phone holder, but the one I got was a piece of junk and clearly NOT what was advertised. They were willing to refund my money, but it would have cost me five bucks to return it, and I wasn't about to do that. THEY were shady and deceitful and I shouldn't have to shell out one cent. I took screenshots of all the pics on the ad page as well as taking pics of the piece I received, to provide proof to Barclays, but I was told it was not necessary to submit this proof to them, that they took my word for it and issued a refund. And teeth-grittingly frustrating trying to talk to a person without having to go through all the hoops via automated "customer assistance". AAARRGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! (But that might be true of all credit card C.S......I wouldn't know).

AVOID THIS OFFER

This review deserves a negative rating. Applied in March 2018. Still waiting for bonus miles. Barclays service center is complicit in this scam by Frontier. After repeated follow up calls to Barclays to rectify the situation, I am canceling this card. I just donated $69 (annual fee) to the bogus operation.

Frontier Mastercard SCAM

MAJOR MAJOR SCAM. DESPICABLE!!! Deserves a negative star rating. Multiple calls back and forth from Frontier to Mastercard. Every time a time limit given and every time Limit expires and no bonus miles showing. Still waiting after 6 months. Have no confidence it will ever be resolved. Utterly disgusted with Inept customer service. NOBODY should sign up for this card unless you want to waste your time and money!!
