The hardest card to use

So I sign up for the credit card when I first see the option from Alegient, but since the credit card was not approved (because I did not make the $60 annual payment) I could not use it. Then the card arrives, and I do not activate it. Then they start sending me late payment charges, so then I call to activate it and pay the fee over the phone. Then I try to use the card to order my new ticket. It does not go through, since they need to process the annual fee first. But then they state they could transfer me to someone that could arrange it, after a 20 minute hold, I was sent to the Fraud Division which told me was a mistake and they cannot do anything for me, nor can anyone else. So I had to use a different card to pay for the trip.
