The Avianca Vuela Visa® Card, once known as the LifeMiles Visa Signature® Card, comes equipped with mile earnings of 3X LifeMiles per dollar on Avianca purchases, and 2X LifeMiles per dollar at gas stations and grocery stores.

This card is a step up from the Avianca Vida Visa® Card, offering better features like more miles per dollar, a signup bonus of 40,000 LifeMiles after your first purchase, and no foreign transaction fees. You’ll get a 0% intro balance transfer APR for 12 months and then 15.99%–25.99% Variable.

This card also comes with a higher annual fee of $159, a free additional piece of baggage for travel between the U.S. and Central America, and a 15% discount on purchased miles.

To apply for the Avianca Vuela Visa card you’ll need to have either earned LifeMiles from flying Avianca Airlines or a network partner, or you must have previously been a LifeMiles credit cardholder. If you’re approved, you’ll either receive a Visa Platinum or Visa Signature card, based on your overall credit.
