The Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card is meant for people who spend a lot of time staying at properties within the Hilton Portfolio.
It’s quite rewarding, with 12X and 6X bonus categories to earn points in. A large welcome offer of 125,000 bonus points is available for spending $2,000 in the first three months. Cardholders get complimentary Hilton Honors Gold status, which comes with a variety of nice benefits.
The most important is the 18X Base Points per dollar you’ll earn at eligible Hilton properties for your Gold status, plus the 12X points from the card, that will be a total of 30X points per dollar at Hilton. There’s also a fast track to Diamond status by spending $40,000 per year with the card, which has even better benefits.
The extra perks and benefits can be quite valuable, and the more you travel the more useful this card will be for you. There is an annual fee of $95, but it’s pretty reasonable for all the value you could get (Rates & Fees).
