Hilton Honors Ascend Card

The Hilton Honors Ascend Card is meant for people who spend a lot of time staying at properties within the Hilton Portfolio.

It’s quite rewarding, with 12X and 6X bonus categories to earn points in. Two different signup bonuses are available as well, which is a rare find. Cardholders get complimentary Hilton Honors Gold status, which comes with a variety of nice benefits.

The most important is the 12.5X Base Points per dollar you’ll earn at Hilton properties. That will be a total of 24.5X points per dollar at Hilton. There’s also a fast track to Diamond status by spending $40,000 per year with the card, which has even better benefits.

The extra perks and benefits can be quite valuable, and the more you travel the more useful this card will be for you. There is an annual fee, but it’s pretty reasonable for all the value you could get.

There are two other Hilton cards from Amex, one more expensive and one less:
